Yeah The MCCs. We currently have 2 models of that ship and SOON(tm) CCP wil lbring the other 2 variants of the MCC. But let's focus on them as they are now:
We currently have the Caldari MCC and the Gallente MCC. Something concerns me on the anti-MCC cannons and that is that they are explosives. If CCP is planning to bring the racial bonuses and weakneses to the MCCs will the Gallente MCC will be the weakest one. While the Caldari one will be the mkst powerful. And I don't know if CCP is planning on bringing different types of anti-MCC weapons but if they saty with the NULL cannon and add the racial differences to the MCCs you can just kiss the Gallente MCC goodbye.
Now let's talk about tge future of MCCs: I hope to see different models of MCCs per race (think I spelled that wrong) From the current one we have now to one that almost simulates a Titan on Eve but on the ground (Not saying it has to be as powerful as the ones on Eve) This will add more diversity and strategic anti-MCC cannon placement (assuming they will add more types of anti-MCC cannons) Also it would be cool to see more than one MCC in the air. Like when your district is getting attacked and you go down there to defend it and see that the attackers have about 5 or 7 MCCs in tge air meaning that they are serious about claiming that district. I had an idea back in the closed beta on how MCCs would work when you are attacking. My idea consisted that each MCC carried 150 soldiers each. Having 5 MCCs on the attacking would mean that they would have 750 spawn tickets. Destroying one MCC will eliminate 150 spawn tickets from their side.
But I know that the MCC will be used by the battle commander and piloted by him (or future pilots using the pilot dropsuit)
But hey this is (or was) my vision of the MCC. Knowing how useless they are in Skirmish it was nice to imagine such things. |

I remember thise days. Destroying communication relays to then go and hack the NULL cannons at their Biomass installation whike waiting for the MCC to arrive was way better than Skirmish. Mlre tactical and more attacker/defender friendly. |

This. I watch the fanfest. But when I ment to see different models per race I ment as in different sizes and shales per race. Like the one we have now (and the ones showed in fanfest) could be the starting one used by new corps. But they get bigger and stronger as long as you have the ISK and materials. |

I wonder why did they changed it? It was a very good and fun game mode. Not to mention fair and balanced. |

I even tried it in servers with Titan movement enabled, and that was even better. You know what's more fun than one of your squads getting beat up at a silo only to have me in my giant airborne battleship come overhead and rain down the pain from its turrets? Nothing.
The MCC will be player controlled in the future. But not now. |

Right now it looks like everything on the ground is Caldari (supply depots, turrets, CRUs, and null cannons).
If destroying tge NULL cannons becomes a thing then Dust 514 will have another step into strategic gameplay.
And yes. Everything installation is Caldari. But seeing as they work fine the way they are I wonder how Gallente, Amarr and Minmitar installations would look like. I am specially concerned with the CRU and supply depots. Turrets can have extra damage if used by the same race like Gallente turret installations would do more damage if a blaster turret is slapped on the thing. But seeing as the CRU only spawns and supply depots supply, I am concerned and confused on how will racial differences will affect these. |
